Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:30 a.m., five yellow school buses and two vans line up outside door 34 at T.C. Williams for meal deliveries to Alexandria children. Volunteer Robbie Schaefer joins a group organized in a human chain efficiently passing the food boxes down the hallway and into the school bus. In real life he says he is a performing musician and songwriter. In five minutes the school bus is loaded and replaced by the next.
